Cloud Architect to support the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) effort. ABMS is the Air Force’s latest effort to create a next-generation command and control (C2) system and is a top modernization priority for the DAF. ABMS will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all the services across the Department of Defense.Primary Responsibilities:
Utilize Cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.Develop and mature analysis system and software tools.Provide technical expertise in the modeling and analysis of military systems and their broader system-of-systems architectures.Develop model-based system engineering (MBSE) to define system functions and develop functional and performance requirements.Lead subject matter experts, stakeholders, and customers throughout the process of developing and coordinating system level specifications.Apply skills in Cloud and Enterprise Architectures, Agile Methodologies, DevOps and full stack development.Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship is required and the ability to obtain Top Secret SCI Clearance with CI Poly.Proficiency in Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) applications, shared storage applications, and other shared applications and processes.Skilled in Cloud and Enterprise Architectures, Agile Methodologies, DevOps and full stack development technologies (Spring, Node, Python, Docker and K8).Experience participating in application development within a development team.Strong experience in establishing, maintaining, and growing DevSecOps resources.Experience with Java, HTML, CSS, Python, REST, and other software.Demonstrated knowledge of deployment technologies (e.g., Gradle, Helm) and patterns.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other container technologies.Proficiency using DOORS or other requirements management tool.Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience using Cameo Enterprise Architect, Rational Rhapsody, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or other comparable tools.Experience with MATLAB, STK, AFSIM, Simulink, Model Center, or other comparable modeling and simulation tools.APPLY NOW
