Senior Dams Engineer

DuBois & King, Inc. is seeking a Senior Dam Engineer with approximately 10 years of experience. This is a full-time senior engineering position with full benefits in our busy and growing Dam Engineering Group located in South Burlington, VT.

Responsibilities

Duties will include safety inspection, evaluation, planning, design, plan development.

Technical specification preparation of contract documents.

Construction inspection of dam projects.

Technical experience in geotechnical/foundations, structural concrete, earth embankments is required.

Experience with applicable FERC dam safety design criteria and state/federal regulations, client development, client interaction, meetings, construction cost estimating.

Minimum Qualifications

B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering. M.S. or graduate level technical coursework preferred.

Related experience in hydrology & hydraulics and permitting is a plus.

AutoCAD is desirable.

VT or NH PE or ability to obtain within 6-12 months is required.
