If so, opportunities for professional and personal fulfillment in a dynamic, progressive organization await you at Capital One!We are seeking a highly motivated accountant to join the Card Controllers Team as an Accounting Principal Associate with a focus on the support of accounting, controls, and internal management reporting, as well as support project initiatives and lines of business at Capital One. You will be a self-starter responsible for supporting balance sheet reconciliations and daily partner settlements while overseeing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast paced, time sensitive environment. This role will have the opportunity to engage with groups across the organization as part of new technology implementation, issue resolution and process improvement.Responsibilities:

Lead certain Card Settlement & Reconciliation workflows with oversight of daily and monthly control executionsBe a work leader of a team of associates to guide completion of workflows and embrace Capital One valuesManage the relationship with our third party staffing vendor, including daily oversight, issue resolution and ensuring the completion of deliverablesCollaborate with internal and external partners to provide meaningful subject matter support, evaluate and mitigate risks, and implement process or product changesSupport progress on our process efficiency & automation agendaCollaborate with Accounting Shared Systems teams including work related to our Global Finance Systems and Reconciliation system enhancements, upgrades and future stateCollaborate and build relationships with back office Lines of businesses teamsProvide ad hoc analysis to managementProvide support for audit, risk and compliance groups as necessaryBasic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 3 years of experience in accounting, audit or financePreferred Qualifications:
