This position is with a Cyber Insurer who is expanding their US footprint and looking to make their first Senior Underwriting hire to lead out growth in the Mid-West.Base Pay Range
$180,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yrResponsibilities
Development and execution of underwriting plans for the Mid-West markets.Develop relationships and educate brokers to maximize opportunities and achieve profitable growth, primarily with wholesale brokers.Achieve new business premium, renewal premium retention, and rate change objectives.Evaluate new and renewal account information to determine risk acceptability, terms/conditions to be quoted, and pricing within company guidelines and granted underwriting authority.Make sound risk and pricing decisions that achieve profitable loss ratios.Collaborate with technology and security teams to develop and execute client engagement strategies.Qualifications
5+ years’ experience as a cyber underwriter with a proven track record of growth.A strong regional network of broker and underwriting relationships.Knowledge of cyber insurance markets.This role will suit someone who is motivated by growing a portfolio in a greenfield environment and is excited by the synergy of cyber insurance and cyber technology.Seniority Level
