Hawai'i Pacific Health is recognized nationally for its excellence in patient care and the use of electronic health records to improve quality and patient safety.The Centralized Verification department oversees the process of verifying credentials of Hawai‘i Pacific Health medical professionals to ensure that we contract the most highly qualified staff for our hospitals and clinics. Responsibilities of the department include assuring compliance with all regulatory agency requirements that govern hospital credentialing, along with the enrollment process for our employed/contracted staff with insurance companies and hospitals.As the Credentials Verifications Specialist, you will help the Centralized Verifications Office uphold our characteristic clinical and administrative excellence. Your responsibilities include verifying functions of the credentialing process for Hawai‘i Pacific Health and its subsidiaries to include compliance with all regulatory agency requirements governing credentialing; verification of required information; compiling supporting documentation; distribution of applicant profiles to contracted entities; and maintenance of a system-wide database of affiliated members. Associate’s degree in Business or health related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Two (2) years of secretarial or administrative experience.Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or health related field. National Medical Staff Coordinator Certification. Provider Credentialing Specialist Certification. Health care experience.
