Microbiology Laboratory Analyst

to join our diverse Micro team in Westport. This role involves shift work.In this role you will be responsible for carrying out routine microbiology laboratory activities including environmental monitoring of cleanrooms; microbial analysis of site utilities and testing of raw material, commercial, clinical, and development batches. You will also manage the microbial analysis of AbbVie products included in the Global Stability program. Micro Analyst

would be:Maintain and align with Laboratory Documentation and Computerized Systems Data Integrity requirements.Perform key tasks for release and stability testing such as: Environmental Monitoring, Water sampling, Bioburden, Endotoxin, Growth promotion, In-process testing, Sterility testing, APET, and Antibiotic Assay.Report writing.Draft and review documentation – SOPs, protocols, training modules, investigations, reports, CAPAs, and deviations.Trending of results and perform investigations into adverse or out of limit results.Validation of equipment and microbiology test methods.Adhere to and support all EHS & E standards, procedures, and policies.Qualifications

So, what do you need to excel in this role?Third level qualification in microbiology required or equivalent science discipline.A minimum of 12 months working in a manufacturing environment. Preferably Aseptic processing.Working knowledge of both Pharmaceutical Industry and sterile processing.Strong background in Aseptic’s and/or Microbiology.So, does this all sound like the right role for you?
