Our client is seeking a highly skilled

NetSuite Administrator

with experience in the wholesale metals industry to oversee and optimize their NetSuite ERP system. The successful professional will be responsible for managing and maintaining the day-to-day operations of our NetSuite environment, ensuring seamless integration of processes, and supporting users across the organization. Your role will be essential in driving efficiency, data accuracy, and process improvements as we continue to grow and scale.This position is with one of our recurring clients who are looking to fill a position due to the internal progression of one of our previously placed professionals. The Wholesale Metals and Minerals industry is almost recession-proof and this position could be the perfect next move for you!NetSuite Administration:Manage and configure the NetSuite ERP system to meet the company’s business needs, including user roles, workflows, saved searches, custom reports, and dashboards.Oversee system upgrades, patches, and new module implementation.Maintain system integrity by managing security settings, user roles, and permissions.Provide technical support to internal users, troubleshoot system issues, and liaise with NetSuite support as needed.Process Optimization:Work closely with department heads (e.g., operations, sales, finance, and inventory) to understand their needs and translate them into efficient NetSuite processes.Identify opportunities for automation and system enhancements to streamline operations.Manage NetSuite integrations with third-party applications such as CRM, inventory management, and e-commerce platforms.Data Management & Reporting:Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and cleanliness across all NetSuite modules.Develop and maintain custom reports and KPIs for various business functions, including sales, purchasing, inventory management, and financial reporting.Monitor and maintain data quality, perform regular audits, and manage system documentation.Training & Support:Provide end-user training on NetSuite functionality and best practices.Create and maintain documentation, including user guides, SOPs, and training materials.Serve as the primary point of contact for all NetSuite-related inquiries, resolving issues and enhancing user productivity.Compliance & Best Practices:Ensure the system complies with industry standards and internal company policies.Implement and maintain NetSuite best practices related to system governance, data security, and audit controls.Qualifications:Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a NetSuite Administrator, preferably in the wholesale distribution or manufacturing sector.Specific experience with the wholesale metals industry (steel, aluminum, copper, etc.) is highly preferred.Technical Skills:Strong understanding of NetSuite architecture, modules, and capabilities (specifically in areas like inventory, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, financials, and CRM).Proficient in creating workflows, custom fields, forms, records, and saved searches.Familiarity with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics a plus.Experience with third-party integrations, particularly with CRM, WMS, or shipping platforms.Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:Strong analytical mindset with a keen ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.Proven experience optimizing business processes through system customization and automation.Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Communication & Collaboration:Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.Experience training users and creating detailed system documentation.Preferred Qualifications:NetSuite Administrator Certification or SuiteFoundation Certification.Experience with SuiteScript and custom workflows.Background in metals distribution or a similar heavy industrial environment.Knowledge of inventory management, pricing strategies, and supply chain processes within the metals industry.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and growthA collaborative and supportive work environmentExposure to innovative technology and industry-leading practices
