WHAT WE NEED:

We are hiring a

Technical Analyst, Oracle EBS Suite

to our team. This is a

hybrid

position that will require regular onsite work at our IT office and manufacturing facilities in

Muscatine, IA . Relocation may be required. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are available for qualified candidates.

The technical analyst is responsible for the technical design, documentation, and delivery of HNI's technical solution using Oracle Applications and related technologies in the area of manufacturing, inventory management, and warehousing.

THIS ROLE INVOLVES:

Analyzing, configuring, and resolving software problems.

Interacting with network services, application administration, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems.

Utilizing one-on-one consultancy to end users.

Independent analysis, communication, and problem solving.

Simulating or recreating customer problems to resolve operating difficulties.

Recommending systems modifications to reduce customer problems.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Software Enhancements and upgrades:

Analyze business needs, define detailed requirements, develop solutions, and recommend potential alternatives after considering business and technical considerations.

Work with the development team (onsite and offshore) to ensure timely design & code delivery.

Ensure holistic solution design, making sure that cross-functional considerations are incorporated into functional and technical design specifications.

Ensure that the Solution Design aligns with our Enterprise Architecture standards and technical application management standards.

Prepare & provide technical design documentation using Oracle Application functionalities.

Review code to ensure it follows HNI Standards and meets performance expectations.

Review and approve Technical Object design & testing results.

Provide technical mentoring and coaching to team members.

Software Production Support:

Evaluate the functionality of technology and systems; recommend upgrades of appropriate systems and equipment as needed.

Provide technical support and maintenance through issue recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up.

Provide second and third-tier support for production issues.

Diagnose and repair problems via email, phone, or in person at the user's station; provide day-to-day IT support to business partner groups.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

4-year degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.

8+ years of SDLC experience in Oracle EBS; with at least 5 years in architecture or solution design using Oracle E-business Application technology.

Hands-on and in-depth experience in Oracle EBS R12 technology stack that includes - AOL, Sys admin (from developer standpoint), Concurrent Processing, Workflow 2.6, Oracle forms 10g, Oracle reports 10g, XML Publisher 5.7 or higher.

Experience in Oracle 11gr2 PLSQL, SQL Plus, Performance optimization techniques such as SQL Tuning, Interpreting trace files, TKPROF or other similar tools.

Experience with multiple and diverse technology environments and software solutions such as Oracle AIMS methodology, EDI technology, Oracle Application Framework Technology, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and SQL, Barcode Scanning devices/technology.

Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) technologies and methods preferred.
