This position is crucial in supporting our commitment to enhancing healthcare services through technology.In this role, you will collaborate with technology groups and leadership in the clinical space to ensure the highest quality of architectural design and provide strategic input on technical design strategy for implementations.Performs technical planning and architectural review of development specifications. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications. Provides technical guidance on the design of solutions. Advises executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance.Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.Responsibilities:Partner across multiple development, vendor, platform, security and SRE teams to ensure technical production readiness of all changes deploying to production.Collaborate with technical teams and leadership to ensure architectural designs meet clinical requirements and enterprise standards.Technical owner of the Operational Excellence deliverables for projects transitioning from pilot to production reviewing and approving production releases.Technical leader of SRE Intake for projects across multiple SRE Towers and teams, assessing capability, monitoring, automation and quality of planned technologies.SRE Technical SME providing leadership, guidance and coaching to multiple Towers' associates and vendor resources.Ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance through strategic architectural approaches.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field8 or more years of experience as a senior developer in large IT projectsPrior project lead experienceExtensive experience as an Architect in a large-scale enterprise environment, particularly in clinical or healthcare-related applications.Deep understanding of architecture patterns, cloud solutions, and interoperable systems relevant to the healthcare industry.Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.Proven track record of leading technical design and driving architectural initiatives.Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience within Humana's clinical environments.Previous involvement in Humana's SRE activities.Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.This is a remote positionScheduled Weekly Hours40Pay Range$126,800 - $174,500 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
