We are hiring a full-time Senior or Staff level Software Engineer for a Medical Device company focusing on the development of Spinal Surgery Robotics. This will be the first U.S. Software Lead and must be based 100% on-site in Dallas, TX (relocation assistance offered.) Candidates must have expertise in C++ development within the Medical Device industry to be considered.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on C++ development.
Proficiency in Qt framework and GUI development.
Experience in developing software for medical devices, preferably in surgical robotics.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and working in regulated environments.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex, real-time systems.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Familiarity with medical device standards and regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304) is highly preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
