The FDP is a 2-year rotational program providing an opportunity to gain breadth through typically 4 to 6 diverse experiences in Apple Finance. FDPs are trained by Apple Finance employees throughout the organization. In the program, FDPs learn about financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, creating financial databases, automating reporting, and much more. Upon completion of the program, FDPs move into non-rotating Financial Analyst roles within Apple.DescriptionOpportunities within the FDP can include the following areas of Finance: AppleCare, Financial Services, Internet Software & Services, Marketing, Operations, R&D, Retail, Sales, Worldwide Finance Planning & Analysis, and more. In these rotations, FDPs will learn to:Monitor financial performance, highlight trends, and analyze anomaliesStreamline reporting through the use of databases such as Tableau or with Excel macrosPartner with cross functional groups and business partners to analyze the businessProvide insights and recommendations for process improvements and innovationsAssist with quarter-end and month-end close proceduresBuild reports to help predict and analyze dataSubmit commentary on actuals versus forecastDevelop future-state business scenarios for financial planningPresent key findings to upper management and executivesMinimum QualificationsWe are looking for candidates with an interest in Corporate Finance or Accounting, as well as the following qualifications:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with executives and business partnersAnalytical mindsetThrive in a demanding and quickly-changing environmentBe a self-starter and have a desire to learn the businessProven track record of completing challenging projects, managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and building effective partnershipsPreferred QualificationsBachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math or related field.This posting is not for a specific job opening and by submitting your resume you are expressing interest in being contacted about this type of role at Apple in the future.Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
