you will:Support cybersecurity data initiatives, Risk Management Framework (RMF) efforts, and sustainment data cyber activities.A week in the life of a

Data Analyst, Cybersecurity and System Integration:Integrate cybersecurity measures on afloat systems, supporting DevSecOps practices, and contributing to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts. The analyst will examine data from multiple disparate sources to provide new insights, design and implement custom algorithms, and develop processes and layouts for complex, enterprise-scale data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research purposes.Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.Design and implement custom algorithms and flow processes for handling large and complex data sets.Develop data models and layouts to support data mining and research purposes.Assist in the documentation and management of cybersecurity measures within the RMF and eMASS frameworks.Ensure that cybersecurity controls and updates are accurately reflected and maintained in RMF documentation.Support sustainment data analysis to identify and address cybersecurity vulnerabilities in existing systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities.Ensure that cybersecurity requirements are incorporated into system designs and implementations.Support DevSecOps practices by integrating security into the development lifecycle and ensuring continuous monitoring and assessment.Contribute to MBSE efforts by developing and maintaining data models that support system engineering and cybersecurity integration.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.3-4 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst with a concentration in cybersecurity and system integration.Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.Certification CISSP.Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar.Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.Familiarity with RMF and eMASS frameworks.Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and MBSE methodologies is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets.Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States. The salary range for this position is $105K - $125K. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
