If so, we invite you to be a part of our Reporting Workflow team.As a Senior Staff Software Engineer on Reporting Workflow, you’ll have the unique opportunity to champion and build high-quality features leveraging our report generation architecture in a fast-moving, progressive work environment. You will be asked to maintain and grow our client statement reporting architecture with a focus on extensibility and scalability as we grow our customer base. As a key leader within the Reporting Workflow organization you’ll also contribute to the evolution of how we can provide client statements to end customers within our application. You’ll think outside the box and add your own genius, passion, and interests to the software development lifecycle.What will you do?Contribute business insight, design skills, and technical expertise to a team where design, strategy, and engineering collaborate closelyDrive projects through the entire full-stack software development process, from requirements and design reviews through the implementation of a new productImpact an evolving tech stack based on modern front-end frameworks and cost-efficient utilization of AWS back-end servicesParticipate in the creation and construction of developer-based automation that leads to scalable, high-quality applications customers will depend on to run their businessesCoach, mentor, and inspire teams of software engineers that are responsible for delivering high performing, secure enterprise applicationsThink creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the wayContribute to a collaborative environment deeply rooted in learning, teaching, and transparencyDemonstrate a strong dedication to code quality, automation and operational excellence: unit/integration/component tests and workflowsDesired Skills and Experiences10+ years in a software engineering position or similar function, with a history of designing and developing new products and using new technologiesA degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related disciplineMastery of data structures, algorithms, state machines, and architectural patternsExperience working with relational databases and/or enterprise frameworksUnderstanding of building back-end infrastructure using AWS offerings such as Aurora, ECS, S3, and LambdasExpertise in one or more of the following languages: Kotlin, Java, C#Willingness to learn about new technologies while simultaneously developing expertise in a business domain/problem spaceAbility to focus on short-term deliverables while maintaining a big-picture perspectiveAn aptitude for problem solvingAbility to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and all audiencesSerious interest in having fun at workNice-to-HavesExperience building responsive Web interfaces using frameworks such as React and ReduxExperience with agile development methodologiesBackground in financial reporting, economics, or businessRidgeline is the industry cloud platform for investment management.
