Will be required to pass a mandated Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.Valid current driver's license and good driving record as well as proof of insurability are required for this position.Must be able to travel 90% of the time with no OTR trips.Preferred/Additional Qualifications:Ability to read and interpret documents such as maps, delivery and installation instructions/procedures.Ability to write simple correspondence such as email.Ability to effectively and professionally communicate to customers in person and over the telephone.Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Job Summary:Loads, transports, delivers, installs, removes equipment by performing the following duties.Responsibilities:Reviews and verifies delivery schedule and attached paperwork. Contacts appropriate dispatcher if needed. Checks paperwork on top of all machines to be loaded, verifies model number, serial number, and all serialized accessories.Loads and secures all equipment onto the truck using blankets, cardboard corners, and proper strapping. Warms up truck while loading when cold weather exists.Confirms delivery, pickup and/or movement with customer prior to delivery. Verifies address.Records any special instructions or directions.Drives truck to deliver equipment and products to customer's location.Records delivery information on delivery schedule.Locates customer contact.Organizes and completes all required paperwork per delivery.Unloads and tags all returned items.Conducts a daily delivery truck maintenance check for operation and safety.Conducts a daily review of required paperwork, tools, and equipment needed.Assists in other areas of the Distribution Center as needed.Equipment Install Duties:Unloads and safely moves equipment to designated area. This may include pushing/pulling utilizing dollies and/or stair climbers.Assembles equipment. Powers up unit and runs test copies.Provides customer with startup equipment training.Obtains customer signature and date.Contacts appropriate sales representative and CSR.Connect devices to the network.Verify scan and print, install if necessary.Equipment Uninstall Duties:Verifies and records model number, serial number, serialized accessories and 'end meter reads.'Marks manuals/CD and consumables with yes or no.Removes, loads and secures equipment from customer's facility.Obtains customer signature and date.Contacts appropriate sales representative.Customer Service Skills:Interpersonal SkillsOral CommunicationTeamworkBusiness AcumenEthicsOrganizational SupportProfessionalismSafety and SecurityResponsible ThinkingOther Skills:Basic knowledge of the operation and installation of delivery equipment and office equipment.Physical Demands:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; sit; use hands and fingers to feel, touch and move equipment.
