The Director Chain Accounts directs the chain activities through the development of mutually beneficial chain account sales, marketing plans and initiatives. Will be responsible for “Top to Top” meetings with major chains, supplier sales and operational management and responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and directing RNDC/NDC Regional and State Chain Account Managers. Manages to go effectively and efficiently to market in an organized, strategic format by performing the following duties.In this role, you will

Develop sales and marketing plans by forecasting conditions, defining objectives and strategies and securing resources.Evaluate performance by measuring and reporting results, evaluating and correcting performance and administering policies and procedures.Organize chain account activities by streamlining processes, coordinating business activities, communicating expectations and expanding best practices. Provide thought leadership, present information, discuss chain issues and give chain status updates at sales meetings.Assist in development of sales forecasts and scheduling of product. Expedite dealer problems in areas of pricing and delivery. Assist in planning and coordination of pricing and delivery. Participate in product display design and pricing of units. Maintain sales logs and generate monthly sales reports.Develop relationships at executive management levels, above the buyer level, in an effort to further promote how Republic can be an added value to the chain. Develop key relationships with upper management in terms of education, strategic sales and marketing planning and critical issue resolution.Possess and operate a motor vehicle to access customer accounts for delivery, promotion, and efficient and prompt sales and other key activities.What you bring to RNDC

Bachelors degree from four-year college or university.Five or more years related experience, of which five years in sales management with an alcoholic beverage wholesaler or supplier and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Travel required at approximately 50%.What's in it for you
