You will work to create software that is of high quality and meets our clients' needs. Our culture of flexibility and freedom are pillars that embrace long-term career growth and learning opportunities in an environment that highlights your unique skills and experience.As a QA/Test Automation Developer, you will:Work in an agile, collaborative environment to recommend and develop testing standards and application of quality technologies.Configure application development that builds testability from the ground up. Ensure the product is robust and failure scenarios are considered and refactored.Collaborate with cross-functional team members on story development, from before definition through final deployment. Perform exploratory testing using industry leading practices.Discover defects/bugs and work with coders and POs to determine root cause and how to prevent similar issues from happening in the future.Drive adoption of test automation - unit tests, integration tests, functional tests.Start dates for this position begin at the earliest in Jan 2025 and continue throughout 2025.Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseGreat at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, designing, and implementing solutions to complex technical issues.Have a basic understanding of software development and programming languages.Have the ability to learn new skills quickly and use the skills efficiently.Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseFamiliarity with software testing protocols is a plus!Location StatementThis position is available in multiple cities, including:Houston, TXPoughkeepsie, NYTucson, AZIBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
