Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Java Developer with Production Support ExperienceThis position's primary responsibility will be to support and maintain existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Defect Life Cycle, triage, analyze and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of work. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of
Charlotte, NC
or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of educationAt least 2 years of Information Technology experienceExperience in Core Java and Production Support
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 to 6 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies and experience in frameworks like Spring, HibernateExperience and good knowledge of Webservices, REST services, JSP and JavascriptsExperience with any enterprise web server preferably Websphere or JBossAt least 1 year of experience in Production SupportAt least 2 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projectsExperience in WebservicesWilling to work in application/production supportExperience in Banking domainStrong communication and Analytical skillsAbility to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environmentExperience and desire to work in a Global delivery environmentThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
