We serve the world’s most sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service.The Intercompany Outsourcing Manager resides within the Third-Party Management Office and leads the Intercompany Outsourcing process for assigned Legal Entities. This role is responsible for assisting with the development and execution of the regional outsourcing framework, focusing on our extensive network of intercompany agreements within our US entity and across global regions. The role is accountable for the facilitation, implementation, and enforcement of a consistent approach to the outsourcing framework within the region.The Intercompany Outsourcing Manager is responsible for assisting with the design, delivery, oversight, and sustainability of the regional outsourcing risk management framework and target operating model, and for collaborating with other key functions/partners for this activity.Key ResponsibilitiesHolding functions accountable to manage and oversee their relevant outsourcing riskMonitoring and escalating non-compliance with the frameworkOverseeing the internal aggregate monitoring and oversight of intercompany agreements across multiple legal entitiesSupporting communication efforts and building a strong stakeholder engagement modelAssisting with creating monthly/quarterly reporting packs for relevant Committee meetingsEngaging with Third Party Officers to report on the status of intercompany outsourcing arrangementsMaintaining and enhancing relevant procedures, guidance, and processesEnhancing the use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)Assisting with the design and delivery of training for key framework stakeholdersSupporting the completion of Regulatory submissionsAssisting businesses in responding to regulatory queriesOverseeing and driving the execution of BAU and strategic enhancement activitiesSupporting more junior team members in executing activities as necessaryPlanning and executing large scale and complex projectsSkillsExtensive experience in outsourcing risk management in wholesale Banking or Financial Services organizationsSubject matter expertise in the global outsourcing regulatory landscapeDeep knowledge of internal controls and risk managementAbility to think strategically and influence key stakeholdersKnowledgeable about peer practices and market standardsExperience in change management and project managementExcellent communication skillsAbility to foster a positive and proactive approach to process improvementStrong organization, attention to detail, and time management skillsHighly flexible and adaptable to changeProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytic toolsQualificationsBachelor's degree and approximately 5-10 years of related work experienceAn undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Risk is highly preferredA thorough understanding of third-party risk managementUnderstanding of global risk regulatory requirementsWorking with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, you will be part of a flexible and collaborative work culture.
