The Senior Financial Analyst for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will be primarily partnering with Chaska Instruments Manufacturing and collaborate with other cross functional teams within the Operations group.

This position is part of the Finance Team located in Chaska, MN and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Act as the business partner for Instruments Group in completing Annual Budget and updating periodic forecast of Production Volume, Headcount and Controllable expenses.

Perform operational accounting which mainly involves Annual Cost Roll, ensuring accurate standard costing of inventory items, understanding Bill of Materials.

Complete month-end close processes which include journal entries, account reconciliation, Cycle Count reporting.

Work with Materials Management group in tracking Inventories and reviewing Excess and Obsolete inventories.

Adhoc – Volume reporting, research Purchase Price and Material Usage variances, Manufacturing Scrap, Cycle Count adjustments, working directly with Buyers and AP Team in resolving Purchase Order/GRNI questions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years experience OR Master's degree in field with 3+ years experience OR Doctoral degree in field with 0+ years experience

Experience in a Manufacturing environment

Expertise in Financial Planning and Forecasting

Familiarity with Cost Roll process and Bill of Materials

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Experience working in a matrix organization

Oracle, and Power BI

Excellent communication and relationship building skills
