Cloud Capability Leader

in Reston, VA.

The Cloud capability leader/SME will support companywide cloud portfolio development and business growth around cloud solutions and architectures for customers and new opportunities. The leader will join the Technology and Engineering portfolio Cloud team to support the cloud portfolio capability with a focus on:Leading and developing new enterprise cloud capabilities and service offerings for emerging technologies within Hybrid Multicloud environments including expertise in cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) services.Supporting customer opportunities ($100M+) and engagements including pre-sales pursuit/capture efforts through the development of cloud technical solutions, proposals and white papers - providing thought leadership in the development of new Peraton cloud capabilities or offerings.Providing leadership in customer engagements/growth opportunities for large enterprise Hybrid Multicloud deployments and ability to propose appropriate cloud architectures and solutions leveraging Peraton's differentiating capabilities and services.Developing reusable technical frameworks to provide an integrated approach that uses industry leading cloud solutions and vendors across disciplines to support cloud transformations.Supporting the investment vision and direction around the Resilient Government/Cloud IRAD's technical components focused on production of prototypes and solutions to grow the business.Developing and managing relationships across the whole client base, discussing benefits and value at board level.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Systems Engineering and 16+ years of industry experience in delivering Enterprise IT and Digital solutions (or a Master's and 14 years, or PhD and 12 years' experience).Experience as a senior cloud leader/practitioner with cloud solution architecture experience in hybrid, multicloud enterprise environments.Experience developing new capabilities, offering collateral and service offerings within AI-enabled Cloud Operations, Cloud FinOps, Containers/Kubernetes, and Cloud Automation (IaC, DevSecOps integration) with an Anything as a Service (XaaS) approaches.Experience leading/supporting technical proposal development for pursuit/capture efforts through the development of cloud technical solutions, solution collateral, and white papers, along with thought leadership in the development of new Peraton cloud capabilities and offerings.Experience in cloud transformation capability (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS) and approaches of transforming applications/analytics to the cloud specifically to commercial cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.).Experience in Cloud Security Services, ATO, Zero Trust architectures and ability to transform requirements/architecture to targeted Digital Transformations technologies and solutions - e.g., DevSecOps, Agile, Application Transformation to Cloud (Re-architecture, Re-factor, Rehost, Replace, etc.).Previous experience working with C level customers and ability to lead/advise executive level (CIO/Deputy CIO, etc.) visioning sessions providing thought leadership, strategies and implementation plans to client.Experience providing technical leadership to engagements and developing detailed technical solution content and estimates.Strong communication skills and technical writing - proposals and statements of work.Professional Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solution Architect Professional, Microsoft Azure Certified Solutions Architect - Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Professional, etc.).Clearance level - Top Secret Clearance.Ability to organize and drive key workshops to achieve the outcomes within the deadline and understands and utilizes the full range of facilitation methods and tools to run effective events.Desired

Knowledge and experience of migrating workloads/applications to the cloud.Knowledge and experience with DevSecOps CI/CD architectures required to transform to new cloud environments (IAC, etc.).Experience with Agile methodology and experience specifically SAFe/Kanban with DevSecOps frameworks.

Target Salary Range

$190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.#J-18808-Ljbffr
