Principal Orbit Analyst/Product Developer
for our Lanham, Maryland or Colorado Springs, Colorado office who is responsible for performing software development for a flight dynamics software product as well as performing orbit analysis and providing satellite mission engineering support.Primary functions:Perform orbit database development for use in COTS flight dynamics productsAnalyze customer requirements to identify unmet requirements, including with respect to proposal effortsDesign and develop COTS product enhancements as required to satisfy customer requirements and appeal to the marketplaceInterface with users of COTS flight dynamics product and solve reported issuesSupport both internal and external users of COTS Flight Dynamics productTravel to customer locations for reviews, installation, testing of COTS products (2-4 weeks per year total is nominal)Keyword:
