Position:
We are looking for a Middle Market Senior Underwriter to represent and develop business for Arch Middle Market.
Your Team:
From manufacturing and hotels to commercial real estate and professional services, our Middle Market Team offers flexible insurance solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises in a wide range of industries, including General Liability, Property, Auto, Workers' Compensation, Umbrella/Excess, Inland Marine, Global Ambassador (DIC/DIL), and Foreign Exporter packages.

In this role as a Senior Underwriter, you’ll develop, grow, and help steward a multi-coverage book of business while working closely with agents and brokers through frequent contact points (both in-person and virtually). You will provide go-to support for the local territory, prospect, pipeline, listen, and educate the marketplace, assess risks, determine premiums, set conditions, and negotiate in order to ensure profitability and meet new business goals.

A Strategic Account Manager: you’ll ensure a profitable book of Property and Casualty insurance by writing new accounts with varying premiums and complexity, growing successful agent and broker relationships;
A Conscientious Professional: Understanding that the deal isn’t done until the paperwork is signed, you’ll document and compile comprehensive account reviews, state-compliant signoffs and referrals, letters of authority, and underwriting guidelines.
