Our collaborative teams provide comprehensive care throughout all stages of a child’s development by offering these services: Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, and Diagnostic Evaluations (service availability varies by location).What you’ll be doing at Autism Care Partners:Ethically implement services based on knowledge and skills in speech language pathology and related subject areas.Conduct appropriate comprehensive evaluation and treatment for individuals experiencing a variety of communication disorders.Use appropriate and dynamic service delivery methods consistent with individual needs, including evidence-based treatments such as the Visual Immersion System.Create individually tailored Plans of Care (POC) reflecting an understanding of each client’s age and skill level.Collaborate with families and caregivers to report progress and challenges, providing opportunities for them to be involved.Communicate effectively with all staff and team members to serve the needs of clients.Complete necessary documentation and billing accurately, including daily SOAP notes, updating POCs every 6 months, and completing annual evaluations as needed.Document duties performed within the approved number of hours worked on EMR system before pay period ends.Maintain agreed upon number of treatment sessions per week as communicated by your supervisor.Attend scheduled team meetings, including monthly SLP team meeting and check-in meetings with Regional Lead Speech Language Pathologist.Perform other duties as assigned by Regional Lead Speech Language Pathologist or leadership.Promote a positive public image of Autism Care Partners and demonstrate an understanding of the agency's philosophy and values.Adhere to Autism Care Partners Policy and Procedures, protecting consumer health information and respecting the rights and dignity of individuals and families.Adhere to the mission, vision, and values of Autism Care Partners, and conduct oneself within the published Standards of Professional Conduct of the organization.Education and ExperienceMaster’s degree in Speech-Language PathologyCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or in pursuit of ASHA CCCState license in Speech-Language Pathology (dependent on locations conducting therapy)Proficiency in the field of autism/developmental disabilitiesBasic computer skills required - includes understanding of Microsoft Office, Windows, Central Reach, and other software as neededFamiliarity with AAC is preferredPhysical DemandsMust be able to lift up to 30 lbs.Must be able to frequently assume and maintain a variety of postures while attending to the needs of active children.Must be willing and able to utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan while working with challenging behavior.Additional RequirementsNo prior criminal historyAbility to utilize technologyBasic computer skills- Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, WindowsAbility to operate basic office equipmentMust be at least 18 years of ageOUR MISSIONEmpowering families to reach their potential through early diagnosis and exceptional, innovative, interdisciplinary care.OUR VISIONTransforming lives as a leader in innovative, integrated, and person-centered care.OUR VALUESClinical excellence: Our services are evidence based, outcome driven, effective, and high quality.
