Senior Financial Analyst

POSITION BRIEFSRS Real Estate Partners, LLC is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join its winning team of professionals. The Senior Financial Analyst will primarily be responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, and business metrics for board reporting. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Excel and enjoy managing details, improving systems and processes, and analyzing information to surface actionable insights for the business. The position reports to the Financial Manager, Reporting and Analysis.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIESProduce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance analysis for executive management reportingPreparation of annual budgetPreparation of monthly financial statements including balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flowsRevenue forecast analysis and reportingBank reporting including working with external auditors to complete annual agreed upon proceduresPreparation of documentation and coordination with external tax preparer for annual tax returnsIdentify opportunities for reporting improvement and automationDevelop financial models to assist in decision makingPerform other related duties as assigned, including ad hoc special projects for executive managementREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business program5 years experience in a finance/accounting roleAdvanced Excel knowledge (Advanced formulas, Power Query, VBA is a plus) and financial modelingExperience with ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics 365) is a plusAttention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skillsResourceful with strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work with all organizational levelsIf you are a highly skilled financial analyst with a passion for real estate, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
