As the manager of the Network Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our network infrastructure and automation using industry-standard tools and best practices. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure that our infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure.You may be a fit for this role if you:Are open-minded, curious, and resourcefulAre passionate about/stay current with modern technologiesSolve problems systematically and transparentlyShare ideas, solicit/integrate feedback, design and solve collaborativelyDemonstrate an engineering and security first mindsetWhat you might work on:Lead and manage a global team of network engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and development opportunities to support career growth and operational excellence.Design, deploy, and manage a resilient global network infrastructure, including data centers and cloud environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.Develop and implement network strategies and architectures for Hybrid Cloud environments, leveraging technologies such as VXLAN for network virtualization and segmentation.Lead the deployment and management of micro-segmentation methods to protect network traffic and improve performance by isolating workloads and limiting lateral movement of threats.Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, utilizing tools like Ansible and Terraform to automate network provisioning, configuration, and management tasks, ensuring scalable and repeatable processes.Oversee the management of core networking protocols and services, including BGP and MPLS, optimizing routing and traffic management to meet business requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into network solutions that support enterprise goals.Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement of network services and equipment.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to network security and data protection.Lead incident response and root cause analysis for network issues, implementing preventive measures to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.Stay abreast of emerging networking technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact on the organization and driving innovation in network services and architecture.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering and operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a global team.Proven expertise in designing and managing complex network infrastructures, including experience with VXLAN, BGP, MPLS, hybrid cloud environments and micro-segmentation.Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering an environment of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels across the organization.Willingness to travel as required to support global operations and initiatives.Experience with implementing a Zero Trust security modelTrack record of implementing NIST 800-37, CIS, SANS, and other security controlsExperience with Palo Alto Firewall, VMWare, NSX, VRA.Familiarity with principles of WAN design to support real time video streaming, as well as other requirements particular to supporting large video file data transferFamiliarity with network monitoring tools including SolarWinds, ELK, and Grafana.Experience with Unified Communications / Telephony systems including Cisco, Microsoft Teams, and voice recording toolsExperience with video conferencing technology including Zoom, Webex, and Microsoft Teams.
