Full TimePosition Description:CGI is seeking a strong Java Spark developer with SQL skills to join our Health Care client in one of our selected client locations. Candidates are required to be within the proximity of the assigned Client location and work in a Hybrid model.This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the Health Care industry. We take an innovative approach to supporting our clients, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.Your future duties and responsibilities:Responsible for product planning, design, development, and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including discovery and creating value propositions.Design and implement highly efficient Spark applications in Java, focusing on performance optimization.Analyze performance concerns and issues; identify bottlenecks that require changes to improve performance.Utilize in-depth knowledge of functional and technical expertise in Java/J2EE Micro-services (Spring Boot) and Big Data in delivering solutions.Configure applications for DevOps using Jenkins and GIT; build pipeline using Jenkins.Deploy applications to the cloud environment using various cloud services; maintain applications in Open Shift and AWS.Develop Staging Layer using Delta Lake for the Ingestion Framework.Implement and manage data publishing and consumption using Kafka.Transform and serialize datasets into JSON messages using Spark SQL.Understand RESTful web services and API development.Seek opportunities to increase product quality and customer satisfaction.Required qualifications to be successful in this role:At least 8+ years of experience with end-to-end Java and Spark implementation, integration, and enhancement projects.Experience working with Onshore-offshore model.Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing highly efficient Spark applications in Java.Experience analyzing performance concerns and issues.In-depth knowledge of Java/J2EE Micro-services (Spring Boot) and Big Data.Experience configuring applications for DevOps using Jenkins and GIT.Experience deploying applications to the cloud environment.Experience developing Staging Layer using Delta Lake.Experience implementing and managing data publishing and consumption using Kafka.Experience transforming and serializing datasets into JSON messages using Spark SQL.Understanding of RESTful web services and API development.Education:
