Infosys is seeking a
Python and Spark Developer.
In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Required Qualifications:Candidates must be located within commuting distance of
Charlotte, NC
or
Jersey City, NJ
or must be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within the US.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.Preferred Qualifications:At least 6 months of Information Technology experienceAt least 6 months of experience in end-to-end implementation of projects in Python programming and SparkGood understanding of OOPS conceptsStrong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scriptingExperience in Big data ecosystem using Hadoop, Spark, Scala using Python packages and libraries for large scale dataKnowledge in AIML (MLOps), LLM, Generative AI will be good to haveGood understanding of Agile software development frameworksStrong communication and analytical skillsAbility to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teamsExperience and desire to work in a global delivery environmentThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
