FlexSteel embodies teamwork with a focus on hiring top talent and developing employees.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis role will be a key asset in the future growth of the company. This individual will be an integral part of preparing the Company’s financial monthly forecast, operating plan variance analysis, annual budget and special projects. She or he will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, and other projects requested by senior management.Work closely with executive leadership to formulate the Company’s financial and strategic plan.Prepare and maintain monthly financial reporting package.Review and explain drivers causing variance between actual, forecast, and budget for income statement items as part of monthly financial review and reporting.Work with business unit heads to prepare annual operating and capital budgets.Produce models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors.Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.Maintain monthly company analytics and KPI’s.Develop analyses to track and evaluate company operational and financial performance.Perform ad hoc financial modeling and analysis.Support senior management team and departments heads with in-depth analysis.Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results.Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement.Work with internal and external auditors on an as-needed basis.Prepare presentation materials for executive management and board of directors.Maintain confidentiality of financial and market information.Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESWork with finance personnel and associates across various business departments.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA a plus.5+ years’ experience in FP&A role or similar experience.Experience in manufacturing industry in a Standard Costing environment preferred.Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.Microsoft Access and Visual ERP skills a plus.Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated.Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThose typical of an office environment.WORK ENVIRONMENTThose typical of an office environment.Disclaimer: Cactus Companies is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and does not discriminate in any employer/employee relations based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, national origin, age, marital status, disability, veteran status, genetic information or any other basis protected by applicable discrimination laws.
