Animal Clinic of Woodruff, a family-owned and operated veterinary clinic in Upstate South Carolina, is looking for an enthusiastic, full-time veterinarian to join our thriving team! Our mission is to enhance the lives of pets and their families in Upstate South Carolina by delivering the highest-quality medical care with gentle hands and kind hearts. Our caring and dedicated team offers a variety of small animal pet care services, including pet vaccinations, animal dentistry, pet surgery, and diagnostic care. We have digital x-ray equipment and an in-house laboratory to enable us to provide complete animal care at one location. We provide preventative animal care as well as pet behavior counseling to ensure that we’re caring for the whole pet.The ideal candidate for this position is someone who wants to expand their skill set and knowledge in a friendly, casual, team-oriented setting. Our veterinarians collaborate frequently and have special interests in soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, cytology, and working up challenging cases. Our appointment-only clinic offers a 2:1 tech-to-doctor ratio, in-house labs, and no overnights or boarding. Our veterinarians have all license fees, AVMA membership, and AVMA liability insurance paid for. We also offer employee pet discounts.Our veterinary clinic values a positive work-life balance so we are closed on weekends and don’t have any "on-call," emergency or weekend shifts. Each veterinarian also gets two Fridays off per month and only works a half-day on the other Fridays. We offer competitive salaries and benefits (including 401K matching), three weeks of vacation, and flexible sick hours.
