ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a mission-focused
Backend Software Engineer
to support and contribute to our government customer’s success in
Denver, Colorado !
This opportunity is on a program that is at the forefront of developing and operating Geospatial Intelligence analysis software. The team builds and maintains an exceptionally powerful platform enabling our users to address challenging real-world problems by converting disparate data into actionable information.
We work directly with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to create actionable intelligence from the massive volumes of Geospatial Intelligence data to give our intel and combat organizations the decision advantage over our near-peer adversaries.
QualificationsRequired Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies
Must have an active TS/SCI with a CI polygraph security clearance or an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
Bachelor’s Degree and or equivalent experience in a related field in lieu of a degree.
Seven (7) years of experience in software development (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance).
Experience as a software developer or software engineer with at least one programming language.
Experience with Java and Object-oriented programming.
In depth knowledge of architecture styles and APIs including REST, SOAP, etc.
Full time onsite with the potential to work a hybrid schedule.
Preferred Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies
Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Minikube, etc.
Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
Experience with ElasticSearch.
Experience with AWS environments.
Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment.
Understanding of GIS concepts (ESRI tools).
CompTIA Security+ Certification.
Security Clearance Level
TS/SCI with an adjudicated CI polygraph or ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
Work Schedule
Full-time onsite - Hybrid schedule with accommodating team environment.
Pay Rate
The projected compensation range for this position is $160,000.00 - $215,000.00. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Criterion Systems considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
