About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced NOC Engineer to join our team, supporting the operation and maintenance of our critical infrastructure, including fibre, OSP, Transport and ILA sites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITIL incident management and experience with critical infrastructure, fibre, and Outside Plant.

The NOC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our network and services, resolving incidents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve service quality and reliability.

Monitor and troubleshoot network issues, identifying and resolving incidents in a timely and efficient mannerEnsure effective incident response and resolution, minimizing service disruptions and impact to customersProficient in ITIL incident management processes, including incident detection, reporting, and resolutionParticipate in change management processes to ensure that changes to the network and services are properly planned, tested, and implementedCollaborate with teams to manage service requests, ensuring timely and effective fulfilment of customer requestsMonitor and respond to events that may impact network and service availability, taking proactive measures to prevent service disruptionsProvide technical support for ILA sites, including site communication, HVAC, commercial power, backup generators, and battery systemsCollaborate with teams to identify and implement service improvements, ensuring alignment with business objectivesParticipate in problem management activities to identify and resolve root causes of incidentsParticipate in continual service improvement activities to identify and implement improvements to IT servicesParticipate in on-call rotation and provide 24/7 support as neededAbout YouFor your application to be successful,

In a NOC Engineer role, with a focus on ITIL incident managementStrong understanding of critical infrastructure, fibre, and OSPExperience with ILA sites and associated systems
