Agave & Rye’s concept walks an intriguing line between fine art and street art, which gives each location the feel of “urban grunge”. Guests can expect an eclectic mix of music that spans everything from 80’s pop hits to today’s essential tracks. Visually, both rustic wood and plush, brightly colored cushions dress the space to create a comfortable atmosphere.

Job SummaryThe Lead Server assists the leadership team in supervising service team members, ensuring they provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized environment, and follow all health and safety protocols. The Lead Server also oversees inventory, orders supplies, and handles customer complaints, striving to create a positive dining experience and meet business goals.

This position is utilized on an as-needed basis. Lead Servers may need to pick up Bartender, Host, or Server shifts to meet full-time hours.

Responsibilities

Assist in training, coaching, and developing employees

Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up

Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service

Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and security standards are met

Qualifications

Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant environment, preferably in the Front of House

Open and weekend availability

Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with members and co-workers

Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and EPIC culture

Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, guest-focused restaurant

Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize

Past leadership and event experience are a plus;

restaurant experience is required.
