The team

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure design, automated deployment, and security management. The ideal candidate will have robust skills in Terraform for infrastructure as code, proficiency in Python or TypeScript for scripting and application development, and excellent communication abilities. The role involves designing and managing cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring security and compliance while optimizing costs.

The role

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Design and Management:

Architect, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable AWS cloud infrastructure.Automated Deployment and CI/CD Pipelines:

Develop and maintain automated deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines to enhance efficiency and deployment frequency.Monitoring and Security:

Implement and manage monitoring solutions using CloudWatch and CloudTrail; ensure robust security and compliance practices.Cost Optimization:

Utilize Cost Explorer and AWS Budgets to monitor and optimize cloud expenditures.Terraform Management:

Write, manage, and troubleshoot Terraform configurations; handle state file management and module creation; collaborate with team members using version control systems.Scripting and Development:

Develop and maintain scripts and applications using Python (e.g., Boto3 for AWS interactions) or TypeScript (e.g., web applications).Communication and Collaboration:

Provide clear verbal and written communication; effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders; present technical information and project updates clearly.What you'll bring

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

4-5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.Technical Skills:

Proficient in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.Strong scripting skills in Python or TypeScript.

Monitoring Tools:

Experience with AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail for monitoring and logging.Cost Management:

Familiarity with AWS Cost Explorer and AWS Budgets for cost tracking and optimization.Soft Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and stakeholder alignment.Effective team collaboration and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).Experience with other infrastructure automation tools or cloud platforms.Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks.About us
