Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Cyber Security Watch Officer in Fort Meade to assist with maintaining the JFHQ–DODIN command center. This position does require shift work and an active TS/SCI clearance. Responsibilities for the Cyber Security Watch Officer Include: Monitoring and reporting operations to senior military officials Incident handling, triage of events, trend analysis, metric development, vulnerability information dissemination Overseeing network analysis and threat detection Working independently in an environment that requires 24/7 supervision Provide knowledge of DoD Computer Network Defense and brief findings to senior leaders Qualifications for the Cyber Security Watch Officer Include: Bachelor's Degree in IT/Cyber Security DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II If no degree, 4+ years of working experience is acceptable Experience using WireShark for packet capture analysis SIEM tool experience (Splunk is a plus) Active TS/SCI clearance Compensation for the Cyber Security Watch Officer includes: Salary Range: $85,000–$155,000/year depending on experience Full Benefits: Cigna Healthcare, MetLife Dental, VSP Vision, 401K with Voya, and Paid Time OffCreate a job alert and receive personalised job recommendations straight to your inbox.
