The position of Senior Loan Administrator is responsible for preparing loan documentation with accuracy and adherence to the requirements set by the loan approval and the Bank’s Credit Policy. As a significant part of the bank’s overall credit risk management process, the Senior Loan Administrator serves a critical role in properly documenting and correcting inconsistencies between the loan approval and final loan documentation.

The essential duties included but are not limited to:

Review of all loan documents prepared within Laserpro from all other loan administrators in the department ensuring accuracy consistent with approval terms and conditions, bank policy, regulatory guidelines and sound banking practice.

Manage and prepare high volumes of loan documents with multiple lenders simultaneously in a timely manner.

Prepare new and renewal loan documents (including SBA) within Laserpro consistent with approval terms and conditions, bank policy, regulatory guidelines and sound banking practice.

Work in conjunction with the credit staff on ensuring the accuracy of the loan documents by implementing management policies and/or operating principles.

Assess the loan and determine the required documentation to order/collect for the loan closing package, included but not limited to title commitments, credit reports, UCC searches, insurance policies, flood certificates and various other items. Prior to loan closing, ensuring all closing conditions are met.

Prepare proper collateral documentation, record liens and file UCC’s with County and State and other governmental agencies.

Communicate with other professionals, including attorneys and title companies in coordinating receipt and review of required documents to expedite the closing process.

Investigate and analyze loan documentation to resolve issues and/or complaints.

Prepare and submit final loan package to loan operations for boarding into the Bank’s core system.

Ensure loan proceeds are disbursed accurately and appropriately.

Maintain a current working knowledge of all internal Bank policies and procedures, as well as laws and regulations related to lending.

May represent the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Bank’s image and develop additional business.

Maintain files, copies and faxes documents, and may order and distribute supplies.

Adhere to all Bank policies including, but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, Privacy Act, Anti-Money Laundering Regulations and Information Security policy.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

High school diploma required.

5-7 years of related work experience.

Knowledge & Communication Skills

Thorough knowledge of commercial loan documentation.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Advanced knowledge of loan administration specifically related to lending.

Ability to communicate effectively with internal employees as well as outside vendors/partners.

Analytical & Decision-Making Skills

Ability to prioritize and orchestrate effective, efficient and dedicated working practices in a dynamic, high-pressure business environment.

Advanced decision-making skills.

Ability to problem solve and logically think through a situation.

Computer/Software/Other Equipment Skills

Basic knowledge of Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to operate standard office equipment such as PC, printer, fax/copier, and telephone.
