Security Engineer - Terraform

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Information Security Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Engineering and contribute to large–scale planning related to Information Security Engineering deliverables.Review and analyze moderately complex Information Security Engineering challenges that require an in–depth evaluation of variable factors.Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Information Security Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.Collaborate with client personnel in Information Security Engineering.Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies.Provide security consulting on large projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards.Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for highly complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security.Review and correlate security logs.Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, and risk.
Requirements:
4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.2+ years Terraform experience.Deep understanding of Cloud and Azure technologies.Understand Automation with Terraform.Well versed in hardening the cloud infrastructure and fully automating controls.Information Security acumen.A self–starter.Ability to take the initiative and drive an effort to completion.
Desired Skills:
ON–Prem AD experience.Powershell/.NET Scripting.
