Job Function: Data Analysis and AnalyticsAs an Asset Information Assurance Manager, you will be required to live within the United Kingdom as you will typically work from one of our UK offices such as Warwick, Leeds, London or Bristol for 2 days per week. The remaining 3 days can be worked from home or our other national sites dependent on the needs of the business and we are open to flexible working for this role. Fortnightly national travel will be required to our sites to facilitate projects and hold team meetings.To manage and develop a team of asset information specialists that manage the quality, accuracy and completeness of the asset information that is collected and stored through the capital investment process to satisfy financial, statutory and regulatory requirements.A specialist in asset information for National Grid, ensuring that National Grid’s extensive asset information requirements accord with the highest professional standards, principles, governance and management.Establish and implement standards, policies, and procedures for asset information management, as well as monitoring and auditing the compliance and effectiveness of these practices. The Asset Information Assurance Manager also leads and supports the development and delivery of asset information improvement projects and provides guidance and advice to internal and external stakeholders on asset information related issues.What you'll be doing

Developing and maintaining asset information standards, policies, and procedures that align with the company's strategy, objectives, and regulatory requirements.Overseeing and conducting regular audits and reviews of asset information quality, accuracy, and completeness across the company's systems and processes, and reporting on the findings and recommendations.Responsibility for ensuring all asset information delivered through capital interventions is accurate and fully defines the installed assets and systems, and flows both into the appropriate systems.Leading and supporting the delivery of asset information improvement projects, such as data cleansing, migration, integration, and enhancement, and ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to business operations.Lead the management of framework contracts and other outsourced services for the production, retention and management of engineering drawings and records.Providing expert guidance and advice to internal and external stakeholders, such as asset managers, engineers, contractors, regulators, and customers, on asset information related issues, such as data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting.Managing and developing a team of asset information specialists and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Lead role in shaping National Grid’s asset information process to ensure world class standards of performance.About you

Excellent understanding of the Technical documentation suite and asset information requirements generated as part of the investment and asset lifecycle process.Asset Management Tools and Techniques.Knowledge of transmission assets and systems.Experience of leading large and diverse professional teams.Experience of influencing at senior levels internally and externally.Membership of relevant professional body.What you'll get
