Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, innovative, and professional. They have a passion for delighting customers, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The Data Center Security Specialist role encompasses oversight of contract employee deliverables and collaboration with Data Center Managers in order to devise security strategies, achieve financial targets, and to improve the overall operational security within our Data Centers in India. They will report to the Area Security Manager responsible for their Data Center Campus.Key job responsibilities

Coordinate the activities of a professional contract guard forceInterface with and assist in mobilizing vendors involved in system repairs and new security constructionOversee individual security vendor deliverables, track service delivery and request corrective actions from vendors as neededFoster working relationships to educate data center stakeholders on false alarm reductionsExtract metrics and observe improvements by looking at and analyzing dataVerify Data Center security programs are delivered to meet defined global security standardsDevelop strategies for improving electronic surveillance and access controlsDraft reports and prepare presentations on the status of physical security operationsCollaborate with managers in writing and implementing security processes and proceduresServe as a customer advocate by identifying security-related opportunities and crafting innovative solutions that maintain uncompromising security standardsBe able to travel between local sites as needed, up to 50% of the workweek.Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree2-3 years of physical security experienceExperience of working in standards-based professional work environment.Participated in an Integrated Project Team or served as part of team to complete a general projectFamiliarity/ experience compiling MIS reportsIncident response & management experienceExperience with Microsoft Office tools.Proficient verbal and written communicationPreferred Qualifications

2+ years of incident response & management experience3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office tools.Data and trend analysis
