About Our Team:We're the driving force behind our platform, committed to creating a secure and captivating user experience. Our goal? To build top-notch products and an environment that prioritises user satisfaction while fostering a creative and disruption-free workplace.Role Overview:Lead an agile team (focused on one of seven domains) with backend, frontend, and QA engineers (5 to 7 members).Guide team collaborations, ensuring stellar project delivery.Help team members grow technically and interpersonally, setting them up for success.Communicate technical project vision to both business and operational levels.Manage and influence technical decisions and team performance.Champion modern software practices within the team.Partner with Engineering Head to recruit and retain diverse talent.Desired experience and skillset:Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, automated testing, MySQL (or similar databases).OR Competency in React, Redux, Apollo GraphQL, SASS, Webpack, Cypress, Jest, Enzyme, etc. with an eye on emerging tech.Deep understanding and passion for web development tech, cloud services, and best practices.Strong leadership and collaboration skills with developers.Nice-to-Have:Experience in transaction-heavy systems, microservices, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Kafka.Familiarity with CICD, DevOps tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, Google Cloud (GCP), AWS, and similar cloud technologies.
