As a Senior Cost Accountant you will directly and actively support the accurate development, maintenance, and fiscal reporting of manufacturing costs for the division, which consists of two separate processing facilities, in accordance with financial guidelines.Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

Develop direct and indirect standard costs by product for materials, labor and manufacturing overhead.Perform required system maintenance to set-up new raw material items and finished products.Review PPV reports and research purchases to ensure accurate PPV reporting.Update standard material costs on a monthly or quarterly basis.Prepare timely and pertinent cost variance reports and make recommendations or take action on items as needed.Partner with operational management to improve controls, accuracy and quality of manufacturing costs and resolve extraordinary variances.Analyze and report on inventory variances of raw materials and finished goods.Prepare accurate cost estimates for new and/or existing products on request.Participate in the monthly fiscal accounting closing process - prepare and enter journal entries and prepare and distribute operational statements.Contribute pertinent cost analysis associated with the annual budgeting process.Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.Assist in the preparation of audit lead schedules and the annual audit package.Work with plant team to manage capital spend within budget.Occasional travel to Crest Hill, IL facility.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCost accounting experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of GAAP and ethical standards associated with confidential and fiduciary responsibilitiesPrevious experience using SAP financial software a plusExcellent interpersonal and communications skills. (verbal and written)Strong PC skills, proficiency with Windows, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)COMPENSATIONIn accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ('Rich's'), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.Annual Range/Hourly Rate$78,984.44-$106,861.30
