The Cartage Services Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing cartage operations within the organization. This role focuses on monitoring and improving asset utilization, controlling costs, and ensuring efficient route planning. The analyst will track key performance indicators (KPIs) weekly for each station, identify stations not meeting their cartage service goals, and facilitate weekly meetings to validate data and drive improvements. This position is critical to achieving the department's objectives of operational excellence and cost efficiency.Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyze cartage data to assess asset utilization and non-asset costs.Develop and maintain reports on key metrics, including asset and non-asset costs, route optimization, and other relevant KPIs.Track and report on weekly KPIs for each station, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Cost and Route Optimization:

Evaluate cartage routes to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.Work with stations to implement route changes and monitor the impact on efficiency and costs.Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed changes to cartage operations.

Performance Monitoring:

Identify stations not meeting cartage service goals and provide detailed call outs for underperformance.Collaborate with station managers to understand challenges and develop corrective action plans.

Stakeholder Communication and Coordination:

Lead weekly meetings and calls with stations to review data, validate information, and discuss performance.Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, to support decision-making.Serve as a liaison between the Operational Excellence team and station managers to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify and implement best practices in cartage services and operations.Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.Proficiency in data visualization tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data clearly and concisely.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Experience with route optimization software and tools.Knowledge of cartage operations and logistics best practices.Previous experience in an operational excellence or continuous improvement role.Company Benefits:

$114,000-$141,000**The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
