Advancement at the University of Colorado Boulder encourages applications for a Program Manager for School, College and Unit (SCU) Support ! The Program Manager will secure new, recurring, and upgraded gifts under the $25,000 level in support of key performance indicators.

Under the guidance of the Director of Annual Giving – Broad-based Fundraising, this position is responsible for the management of Annual Giving’s internal partnerships in fulfillment of broad-based and multi-channel fundraising campaigns. Through close collaboration with school, college, and unit (SCU) Advancement teams, this position will support fundraising efforts that highlight the breadth of philanthropic opportunities at CU Boulder.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Campus Support

Builds and maintains working relationships with schools, colleges, and units to identify and support unique fundraising opportunities.

Seeks and collects SCU-specific content that shows philanthropic priorities and donor impact across many academic and community programs.

Supervises multi-channel annual giving campaigns that incorporate segmented content and/or audiences based on SCU affiliation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Creating and maintaining thorough project and process documentation and a full calendar of campus efforts.

Collaborating with colleagues to collect content and data, provide guidance, and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.

Developing fundraising messaging for various channels including direct mail, email, MMS, and web; organizing audience data; and directing activities in pursuit of campaign fulfillment.

Providing regular reports on the progress and outcome of each campaign, communicating lessons learned and refining standard processes.

Demonstrates a dynamic approach to observing industry trends associated with modern fundraising to ensure standard practices are pursued and implemented.

Annual Giving

Supports the implementation of the agreed-upon baseline on Annual Giving activities shared across CU, as described in the Annual Giving Memorandum of Understanding.

Collaborates with colleagues across Advancement, including Marketing and Communications, Donor Relations, Data Insights, and gift officers to achieve a cohesive approach to annual giving strategies and processes.

Partners with System Advancement and the CU Foundation to support system-wide initiatives when applicable.

Supports the pursuit of CU Boulder’s Annual Giving key performance indicators.

Data and Reporting

Requests and manipulates data to provide lists, segments, analysis, and reports to support campus projects.

Ensures the on-time and accurate delivery of data files and reports to internal and external partners as necessary.

Supports the development and distribution of regular reports that enable Annual Giving and Advancement leadership to supervise, review, and celebrate fundraising activities.

What You Should Know

This position will occasionally be required to work evenings/weekends.

This position is in a hybrid work situation, with the majority of work being performed remotely. This position may infrequently be expected to come on-site for SRS events, project needs or other unforeseen circumstances.

What We Can Offer

The salary range is $60,684 - $69,500 annually. Relocation assistance may be available within Advancement Guidelines.

What We Require

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

1+ years of experience fundraising in a higher education, non-profit, or medical setting, in support of fundraising campaigns.
