The AWS Cloud Storage Product Marketing team is hiring a product marketing manager for data migration and hybrid cloud storage. Product Marketing is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. We tell AWS's most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when you build on AWS.

You will have proven product marketing experience at a storage vendor, public cloud or SaaS company, or across early- and mid-stage tech businesses. You will work with cross functional teams creating compelling content to help customers understand use cases and value propositions of migrating data to AWS or building hybrid cloud storage workloads, as well as support marketing programs. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology and translating complex topics into engaging content and a track record of writing and producing high quality content.

We are open to hiring candidates to work in our offices in Seattle, WA or Boston, MA USA only. Relocation assistance offered from within the U.S. only.

Key job responsibilities

Own messaging and positioning of key strategic AWS data migration services such as AWS DataSync, AWS Storage Gateway, and AWS Transfer Family.

Collaborate with AWS product and engineering teams to distill key functionality and benefits of major launches into product marketing messages.

Engage with AWS field and digital marketing teams to identify and integrate joint messaging and content into lead generation, customer engagement, and product adoption focused marketing programs.

Craft and develop compelling audience and initiative specific messages and tools (product videos, collateral specific to different audiences or campaigns, demos, presentations, how to guides, etc.)

Own content strategy and execution for key communication channels including website, blog, social, on-network promotion, events, and emails.

Drive successful service launches inclusive of customer benefit messaging and positioning.

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.

Experience in partnership and product marketing.

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion.

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.

Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives.

Experience owning and driving large-scale cross-functional programs.

Experience in technology product marketing - preferably cloud computing.
