Lab Technician
to join our team. The Lab Technician will support the analytical services lab through sample preparation, chemical testing execution, and the generation of reports for internal and external customers. This position will work closely with other team members to ensure that the lab runs efficiently and safely.What You'll Do:Perform the cleaning and preparation of laboratory glassware and sampling equipment.Calibrate scientific instrumentation and laboratory equipment based on established procedures.Assemble UHP sampling equipment independently based on established procedures.Receive analytical equipment and prepare samples for analysis.Perform sample analysis based on established procedures.Provide consistent and accurate data from analyses.Effectively multitask across laboratory responsibilities.Ensure the accuracy of provided data.Any other duties as assigned.What We Seek:A bachelor degree in chemistry or related field preferred, but must have high-school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 1 year of lab experience in an analytical chemistry environment strongly preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.Proficiency in LIMS software desirable.Ability to work with basic hand tools.Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively (both oral and written).Ability to work independently following applicable training.What We Offer:At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
