JOB SUMMARY:Good clinical knowledge in emergency medicine. He/she should possess good communication and soft skills. Additional benefit for those who have valid certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:Lead a “quality team” of medical and nursing staff.Work towards ensuring quality care service delivery in A&E.Supervise and direct the medical officers/senior medical officers on clinical issues regarding patient care.Make decisions in crises and resolve issues timely.Communicate with the A&E regarding management-related issues, especially during the night shift.Report important and urgent clinical issues to the A&E clinical head.Coordinate with medical and non-medical staff within the department and other stakeholders.Ensure the implementation of administrative/clinical policies and SOPs.Provide medical support to team members to facilitate quick management of patients.Document patient medical information on HIMS.Properly hand over and take over patients at the end of each shift.Maintain a professional and polite doctor-patient approach at all times to understand patients’ problems.Adhere to the proper dress code as per human resources.
