is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join their rapidly growing team!
DescriptionThe System Engineer shall implement and maintain operational data flows for a large high performance computing system. The System Engineer shall be responsible for ensuring all data handling requirements are met for data storage, data transport, data security and data compliance, as well as accurate upkeep of knowledge store management.Additional tasking includes working with various mission customers and multiple teams to coordinate on tasks needed, as well as perform exploratory data analysis on raw data to clean, enrich, transform, and convert the raw data into the required formats.
Position Required SkillsExperience using the Linux CLIExperience implementing and maintaining operational data flowsWillingness to learn Apache NiFi to process and distribute dataExperience with Corporate data flow processes and toolsExperience with Corporate data security and compliance procedures and policiesExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (i.e. JIRA, Confluence)Position Desired SkillsExperience writing scripts using Bash/PythonExperience with time-series visualization tools such as GrafanaQualificationsAn active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.Seven (7) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.Technology Resource Experts, LLC
