The Senior Product Manager, Onivyde is a key role on the Oncology Commercial Team and will report to the Senior Director, Onivyde Marketing.

The SPM will play a vital and critical role in US marketing initiatives focused on driving customer conversion and expanding utilization of Onivyde for appropriate patients to help the Onivyde team achieve near-term revenue goals that deliver on ambitious brand growth. Key promotional activities and responsibilities include brand planning, development and oversight of promotional campaigns (PP & NPP, HCP/Patients), and management of speaker programs.

Included in the scope will be adapting the brand’s strategy/tactics leveraging insights, sales data analysis, day to day sales team partnership, and marketing budget management. The SPM will also collaborate with the training team and field leadership to ensure best in class training for the oncology field force.

Main Responsibilities & Job Expectations

Core ActivitiesSupport the Tazverik marketing team in the creation of brand strategy and tactics in line with the share of growth and opportunities identified in the patient flow.Lead the implementation of assigned initiatives (optimization of campaign materials, congress management, affiliates best practice sharing, internal communications, multi-channel) across a broad spectrum of the marketing mix utilizing excellent project management skills to achieve project goals.Work closely with vendors to conceptualize, develop, and execute promotional materials and programs.Identify innovative and compliant mechanisms to engage and provide value to key customers and differentiate Ipsen based on key company and brand strengths.Apply creativity, innovation & out-of-box thinking to enhance the customer experience.Ensure that the brand marketing spend on assigned projects is on target and spent efficiently.Work with global teams to seek input and drive marketing programs.Support team track and articulate market performance, trends and developments in order to influence business strategy, identify future risks and opportunities.Optimize the layout and format of presentations for key internal stakeholders to ensure key messages are clear and resonate.Cross Functional Collaboration WithOncology field leadership to gain alignment and provide support with sales force execution and other business needs.Value & Access, Medical and other key cross functional brand team members on brand promotional development, execution and performance management.Promotional Review Committee, Legal and Business Ethics partners to proactively ensure compliant and appropriate activities.Cross Functional Stakeholder ManagementGuide the application of key insights to validate business opportunities and inform specific brand strategies.Work with advanced analytics team to inform continuous refinement of brand strategy & tactics.Proactively seek cross functional team engagement and the sharing of best practices across the organization.Knowledge, Abilities & ExperienceBA/BS degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.5+ years of pharma/biotech experience, with at least 3 of those years in US oncology marketing related roles.Successful Oncology launch experience preferred.Strong communication and presentation skills to interface with both internal and external stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and senior management.Ability to work with multiple internal cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Experience managing agencies, consulting firms and/or other vendors.Knowledge of the AMA, ACCME, PhRMA and FDA regulations associated with promotion and industry-supported scientific education activities.Demonstrated consistent track record of success in project management and producing results as a team and/or individual contributor.Work within an environment of strict compliance to all appropriate regulatory guidelines to successfully design and execute tactics, programs and tools that achieve business objectives.Willingness/ability to travel domestically, while working under a hybrid structure including onsite working 2-3 days per week on average from our Cambridge, MA HQ.The annual base salary range for this position is $123,750 - $181,500.

The pay range displayed above is the range of base pay compensation within which Ipsen expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting.
