We are seeking highly motivated, seasoned program managers who are energized by working in a fast paced, complex, cross-functional environment.The Sr. Manager, Project Program Management will lead a cross-functional team focused on delivering medium to large strategic initiatives for the Medicare Organization. In a matrix management capacity, you will provide leadership and strategic direction to a team of project/program managers as well as many cross-functional areas to develop and deliver holistic strategies and solutions.Key components of this role include:Effectively manage multiple projects/initiatives concurrentlyManaging multi-year projects/programs of medium to large complexity from inception through to implementationImplementing effective project/program controls including program schedules, metric development, status reporting/tracking results and financialsTracking progress against key milestones, and creating and implementing value-based metrics and analysis to measure outcomesProven track record in quality outcomes and meeting expected milestones and results.Additional Responsibilities Include:Participate in setting the strategic direction for complex projects and/or programs teamsPreparing and maintaining team budget and resource allocationsEnsuring all stakeholders are engaged in developing strategies, solutions and/or supportive of the strategic solutions designed using strong influencing skillsParticipate in the development of executive level presentations to support initiativesPartnering with Technology teams to deliver complex initiativesRequired QualificationsProven track record managing large scale initiatives in a matrix organization5-7 years project/program management experience in roles demonstrating increasing scope and complexityAbility to achieve results through othersStrong communication skills – oral and writtenStrong problem solving analytical skillsAbility to drive change to improve performanceExperience with information designEducationBachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is: $67,900.00 - $199,144.80. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
