Our strength comes from our global footprint and enormous portfolio of advanced industrial sensors, measurement technologies, factory automation, simulation, and analytics tools.Description:The Senior Financial Analyst is an integral member of the Software finance organization with key deliverables that provide frequent exposure to senior leaders in the finance team and HMI. This role is primarily responsible for managing, budgeting and forecasting expenses related to multiple Software business units in addition to creating detailed financial models to project monthly cost estimates, adjustment schedules, proformas, and other financial metrics. The individual will also assist in cost benefit analysis, and various ad hoc analysis.This role is perfect for an individual that wants to make an impact at HMI and shape their career by helping transform the software organization.Job Responsibilities:Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and financial forecastsServe as a strategic business partner for members of the product management and development teamAnalyze financial performance, support product leaders to drive revenue growth, and improve margin and efficiencyWork closely with executive teams on the annual budget exercise (financial and operating budget) and ensure programmatic successMonthly and quarterly reconciliation of Profit and Loss statements against budget and forecast in support of C-level report outsIdentify and/or support efficiency projects to streamline internal operationsQualifications:5 years of progressive experience in FP&A roles, preferably at a software company2+ years of budget, planning and forecasting experienceAdvanced Excel skillsSolid understanding of accounting processes, general knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS and cash managementStrong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locationsPhysical Demands:Employee must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable employee with disabilities to perform essential job functions, absent undue hardship.Frequently in a stationary position for long periods of timeManual dexterity required for keyboard use, operating office equipment, grasping objectsRegularly move around the officeSpecific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and adjust focusFrequently communicates with other employees and customersJob Environment:
