Senior Managers of Engineering at OneTrust will make long-term strategic and technical contributions. These individuals set strategic goals for the team, hire engineers, and prioritize projects. You'll be involved technically, too. Developing new products, identifying requirements, and executing with excellence.Your Mission
Drive strategic planning and execution while developing key technologies that will enhance One Trust’s long-term, proprietary strategic position.Create new concepts from initial design all the way to market release.You Are
Experienced overseeing end-to end-development activities while conceiving product and service architecture. You will ensure scalability, availability, reliability, and ease of operationsLeading Engineering team to drive scalable data processing platforms as SaaS and OnPrem service.Good understanding of web services and SOA related standards like REST/OAuth/JSON, object-oriented design methodology and application development using Java/J2EE, Design Patterns, Spring MVC, SQL, Web services.Designing strategies for future development projects based on the company’s overall objectives and resource availability.Mentors the internal engineering talent.Participate in strategic discussions on programs impactful for the company, help with career growth of your team members, assess other technical leaders for promotion readiness, influence other Director / VP organizations.Coordinating with internal and external stakeholdersGood at finding opportunities to improve development process.Your Experience IncludesBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field12+ years of engineering experience with a strong track record of successful development and delivery of complex, enterprise-class software that results in material market impactExtensive experience in building distributed and parallel data processing platforms.Ability to work with architecture and Engineering leads to create architectural models and technical design documentation, which includes current and future state process flows, applications/database objects, specifications that detail proposed database and/or data integration implementations.Excellent leadership, verbal, and written communication skillsExtra Awesome
Deep understanding of system performance tradeoffs, and engineering for high availability.Experience with Kubernetes and ecosystem tools such as Helm, Istio, and Prometheus is highly desirable.Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, such as JenkinsFor California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
